Victor Petit is a doctor in philosophy and epistemology (Histoire et philosophie de la notion de milieu, Université Paris Diderot, 2009). His current works combine philosophy of technology and philosophy of environment.He wrotes the Ars Industrialis association's glossary, thus following in the footsteps of Bernard Stiegler (Pharmacologie du Front National, Flammarion, 2013). His research work in the French field of Information and Communication Sciences has been inspired by the PRECIP project. He has notably published "Internet, un milieu technique d'écriture", in E. Rojas (dir.), Réseaux socionumériques et médiations humaines. Le social est-il soluble dans le Web, Hermès-Lavoisier, Paris, 2013, p. 155-173.
