Rone Shavers

Rone Shavers is author of the experimental Afrofuturist novel Silverfish (Clash Books), shortlisted for the 2021 CLMP Firecracker Award in Fiction. He writes in multiple literary genres and his work has appeared in numerous publications. He is fiction editor and hybrid genre editor at Obsidian: Literature and Arts in the African Diaspora and co-editor, with Joseph Tabbi, of Paper Empire: William Gaddis and the World System. Shavers is Associate Professor of English at The University of Utah.
